We LoSkA ?
Today enforces the fact that people are different in so many ways. Not in a bad way, still differences are so inevitable. And when we think that we are alike with another person, it may surprise us that in that alikeness, differences, even subtle, exists. But what I've learned is not to focus and try to make things as similar, but to understand and support the dissimilarities. That's what makes friends last for the longest time. That's diversity!
This morning the group did the Kiara ride - the third official ride. Everyone enjoyed the adrenalin rush and the excitement of the trail. I do not want to speak on anyone else's behalf, but although I would enjoy riding Kiara, I feel that there are other trails which I like better. Please do not get me wrong here as I would ride Kiara anytime the group decides so. But its something like nasi lemak and roti canai - different person have a different taste bud. But, I reiterate - once a decision is made (on ride plan), I'd go with it (unless I could not partake even before the consensus was reached).
I can only hope that each and everyone whom are a LoSkA clan feels (and acts) the same way. It would really hurt the brotherhood when someone chooses to do an laternative ride just because "that's not the ride trail I'd like to do..." After all, a group can only be group when, despite personal disagreement, everyone in the group at the end of it follows the consensus....
Sometimes we just take things for granted..... especially with those that are closest to us. And most times, we do not even realize that we are taking things for granted.
